Tom and I took a drive over the Sierras to see the fall colors. While we were there we visited Devil's Postpiles. What an impressive sight it is. Many times when I see what nature creates it just amazes me, this was one of those times.
When we returned and I went to my weekly painting group, the subject to paint was rocks....luckily I had printed out the photo I took while at the Postpiles so had a go at it.
